Are you ready to take the next step in your procurement or contracts career?

We are looking for an emerging commercial professional to join our high-performing Commercial team as a Contract Specialist. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in purchasing, procurement, contracts administration, supplier management, or commercial support who is looking to broaden their commercial expertise and develop their career.

Working closely with experienced Contract Specialists and key business stakeholders, you'll gain exposure to the full contract lifecycle while contributing to strategic sourcing, supplier management, and commercial decision-making.

About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Contracts Specialist, you will support and manage a variety of commercial and contracting activities across the business. You will be involved in the full contract lifecycle, from tendering and evaluation through to contract administration, supplier performance management, and contract close-out.

This role offers the opportunity to further develop your negotiation, commercial analysis, and stakeholder engagement skills while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the end-to-end tendering, evaluation, negotiation, and award of goods and services contracts
  • Assist with the management of supplier relationships and contract performance
  • Maintain contract documentation, records, and compliance requirements
  • Administer active contracts to ensure obligations and deliverables are met
  • Contribute to sourcing activities and supplier engagement initiatives
  • Prepare commercial documentation, correspondence, and reports
  • Support planning, forecasting, and commercial reporting processes
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
  • Identify opportunities to improve contract and procurement processes

About You

What You'll Bring

  • Experience in procurement, purchasing, contracts administration, supplier management, or a related commercial role
  • Understanding of contracting, procurement, or tendering processes
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders and suppliers
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Pronto experience advantageous)

Qualifications & Experience

  • Qualification in Procurement, Business, Commerce, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related discipline preferred
  • Relevant industry experience in procurement, contracts, purchasing, or commercial environments
  • National Police Clearance
  • Industry memberships (e.g. CIPS, CIPSA, AIM) highly regarded
